I am currently a student at the Midwives College of Utah. The BSM program at MCU, focuses exclusively on community birth (any birth that occurs outside of the hospital.) My student experience and education in community birth gives me a deeper understanding of the homebirth process and the needs of home -birthing families. I am currently serving as a primary under supervision student midwife with Freedom and the Seed. You can follow my student journey here.
I have been providing pre-natal, birth and postpartum doula services since 2006. I am the co-founder of Traditional Doula and Midwifery Arts, a doula education and certification organization. I am also a Hypnobabies® Certified Hypno-Doula, Certified Womens Herbalist with Indigenous Remedies and I have received additional continuing education in, belly binding, breastfeeding, babywearing, spinning babies, herbalism and aromatherapy.
My goal is to serve each birth giver with individualized quality care and to provide one on one personalized attention, helping you to achieve the birth experience that you want. I give you my complete presence and energy, holding a space for you, so as to allow your birth to unfold at it's highest potential.
I am Certified in Neonatal Resuscitation of the Newborn (NRP) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
